Accessibility for WELCOME.YOU Guides and Tools
Review WELCOME.YOU accessibility features, current WCAG 2.2 AA goals and how to report a barrier or request a different content format.
Our commitment
WELCOME.YOU aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA principles through semantic headings, keyboard access, visible focus states, sufficient contrast, descriptive links, alt text and layouts that reflow on small screens.
What you should be able to do
- Reach navigation, forms and controls with a keyboard.
- Zoom or reflow the page without losing the main information.
- Understand links and form fields without relying on colour alone.
Current features
The mobile menu is keyboard operable and closes with Escape. Forms use labels and fieldsets. Guide action sheets use native checkboxes and announce completion status. Motion is limited and respects reduced-motion preferences. Tool results are announced through a live region.
Report a barrier
Email access@welcome.you with the page, device, browser and problem. Describe what you expected and what happened. We will acknowledge actionable reports and prioritize barriers to essential information or tools.
The general contact page lists safe reporting details and reminds readers not to send identity or financial records.
