How WELCOME.YOU handles messages, browser-only tool inputs, local checklist progress, analytics and advertising choices.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the information in your message. Do not send financial credentials or identity documents. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to respond, handle a correction or meet a legal obligation.
Information you should never email
- Passwords, one-time security codes or complete card numbers.
- Passports, residence permits, bank statements or credit reports.
- Account recovery answers or unredacted tax identifiers.
Tools and private action sheets
Decision-tool answers are processed in your browser and are not submitted to WELCOME.YOU. Guide action-sheet progress is saved only in your browser's local storage so it remains checked when you return; the reset button removes that guide's saved progress. We do not receive either type of data or use it to create a profile.
Analytics, advertising and choices
Production deployments may use privacy-conscious analytics and advertising cookies after the required consent mechanism is configured. This policy will name each active provider and explain controls before those services are enabled.
