Editorial and Review Policy for Financial Guidance
Read the sourcing, review, corrections, authorship and AI-assistance standards used for WELCOME.YOU financial onboarding content.
People-first purpose
Every page must help a newcomer complete a real task or make a better-informed decision. We do not publish pages solely to capture keyword variants, and we do not create thin country or location pages.
The publication test
- Does the page solve a distinct financial-onboarding problem?
- Does it add an example, method, source or working function?
- Can a reader identify a safe next action without reading filler?
Sourcing and accuracy
Country rules, protections and obligations are checked against regulators, government agencies, statutory protection schemes or other primary sources. Product terms are time-sensitive and must be dated. We distinguish general patterns from provider-specific policies and never imply guaranteed approval.
How AI assistance is used
Automation may help organize drafts, identify missing questions or prepare technical assets. It is not evidence. Claims still require source checking, editorial review and a usefulness test before publication. Imported Docs Library articles must come from the exact WELCOME.YOU folder and are withheld when automated gates detect an off-topic page, weak sourcing, invalid internal destination, tracking or affiliate parameter, duplicate metadata, near-duplicate copy or unsafe HTML. Passing those checks does not prove a claim is true; a human remains responsible for source review and publication.
Calculators and decision tools follow a separate, published comparison methodology so a result can be checked rather than trusted blindly.
Authorship, review and corrections
Pages identify WELCOME.YOU Editorial Team as the organizational author because we do not attribute work to invented individuals. We show review dates on country guides, topic hubs and supporting guides. Material corrections are made promptly; readers can report an issue through the contact page.
Commercial independence
Paid placement never controls tool output or editorial inclusion. Advertising, if present, is visually separate from main content. Affiliate relationships must be disclosed near the relevant link and cannot change comparison criteria.
