How We Compare Financial Choices
See how WELCOME.YOU tools compare documents, banking costs, credit steps and insurance risks without commissions or sponsored rankings.
Account matching
The matcher does not rank banks. It turns needs into a weighted checklist: document compatibility, predictable recurring cost, cash access, domestic payments, international use, safety-net behavior and official deposit protection. A branch need raises the importance of in-person access; irregular income raises the importance of balance and fee conditions.
Inputs that change the comparison
- Your accepted identity and address documents.
- Your normal cash, transfer and international-use pattern.
- The account's cost in an ordinary month and a failed fee-waiver month.
Use those inputs in the first bank account matcher to produce questions for a provider, not a sponsored ranking.
Credit planning
The planner prioritizes identity accuracy, access to a report, payment systems and one suitable reporting product before additional applications. It never advises carrying a balance for scoring purposes and does not estimate a score.
Insurance priorities
The checker starts with legal requirements, then losses capable of causing severe financial harm, then replaceable losses. It flags possible overlaps with employer, card or public coverage but does not assume those benefits are sufficient.
What is deliberately excluded
We do not use commissions, brand popularity or unverified review scores in tool output. We do not request names, account numbers, identity documents, exact income or contact details. Tool answers remain in the browser.
The website terms explain the limits of educational tool results, including why a result is not an approval or individualized recommendation.
